Amazon just lowered the price on the Kindle to $189! A total bargain. I highly recommend the Kindle, especially to fanfic readers, it's super easy to convert fanfics in .pdf format to Kindle format and it's FREE!!!!!
Most of the stuff on my Kindle is fanfiction. ;-)

Oh, and USA won!!!!!!!

Then how come I have to pay for doing it? Am I doing something wrong?

Oh, and I bought my Kindle on May 1 and they drop the price yesterday, uncool!!!

ION, how have you been??? Haven't seen you in a dog's age!

You have to send a pdf to your kindle email but amend the address to @free.kindle.com. So if your kindle email was vlredreign@kindle.com, send it to vlredreign@free.kindle.com
Put "Convert" as the subject and attach your pdf. A few minutes later you will recieve the document in .azw format. Save it on your computer, then attach your Kindle to your computer with the USB. Open the Kindle folder and drag & drop the .azw file to the Kindle documents folder and tada! Free conversion.

It's a little bit more cumbersome than having it sent directly to your Kindle, but it's FREEEEEE!!!!

Doesn't it always happen that the price goes down after you buy something? When I bought my 80gb iPod, one month later they came out with a 160gb for the same price. ;-(

ION, I have been doing pretty good, got a new tattoo, adopted a dog, bought a car, and have been unemployed for over a year! lol

Are you coming to Pride this weekend by any chance?

Thanks for the directions!!!

No, I won't be at Pride, as I'm living in Oregon now. O.o I've been unemployed since March. Since the apartment came with the job, I had to move. So, back to Oregon we went! I don't think we're quite done with CA yet, though. So keep a weather eye out, we may be back in a year or so!

I really hate missing Pride, though. That was my annual party time. So have fun for me, k?
