Leslie Feinburg is dead. I am not OK.

I was so young and had such a crush when I met Leslie. S/he was so kind to what must have been a very obvious baby femme trying to get hir attention.

Leslie really meant the world to me. Leave a comment

Hugs for you. Saw the news hit my feeds yesterday and still feel a bit stunned. And with Trans Day of Remembrance tomorrow, my household is full of all the feels.

Sorry I'm late, and I hope you've found a little bit of piece about this. I had never heard of Leslie before, but have now seen plenty from my lgbt friends since the 17th. It sounds like a horrible death, but also a tremendous legacy.

I just happened on Stone Butch Blues at a thrift store, brought it home, stuck it in a pile then picked in up several years later, which was this year some time. It's not a great literary novel, but oh, what a work of radicalism. I'm so glad I read it and then I had it to pass on to an enby I met who needed it.

Will you friend me? I saw your comment on Drinkingcocoa.
