Excellent chapter. I love when Tim kicks ass like that, showing what he's made of, tough stuff, tougher than he thinks.

Thanks.

Go, Tim! This was excellent, especially how Tim materialized behind the bad guy. (And when Tony was wondering what the Russian equivalent for
capo was, all I could think of was CM' "Honor Among Thieves", but I couldn't remember how to spell whatever they called Arkady.) And yes, Ziva does have a way with criminals..they probably sense that she could kill them with a flick of her little finger!

I love this a lot, can't wait for the final *sigh* installment!

I think I've seen like 5 minutes of HOT, and then only once. But it did pop up in my brainstorming a tad, yes.

That climactic Tim-moment was in my head from when I first started writing the thing. I wanted a way to let the team come save Tim without taking away his own agency. (Because I like when they let Tim be badass. Sean does stealth-badass very well.)

He certainly does..it's that baby face of his. You think he's totally clueless and then the next thing you know, you're headed to prison for 40 years because he got you to confess. You never see it coming until it's already there.

WHERE THE HELL ARE THE PARAMEDICS SRSLY.

Tim mentally cursed himself. He had been sitting with his back to a metal desk the entire time, without even knowing it. Old style, probably. 1970s; long-lasting, but not very elegantly made. He thought back to his days in base high school, but now the reverie was with a purpose. Those desks were not sleek or stylish, or futuristic (well, maybe in the old Battlestar Galactica sense, but definitely not in the Star Trek: The Next Generation sense.) They had corners, they had edges, they had sharp places.

And there was one, right there. Tim felt at the bonds around his wrists. Pretty tight. Pretty close to his wrists. Uncomfortably close to the veins in his arms. But he had no choice.

This section was pure win, BTW. I love how you display McGee's...ness. <3

The paramedics are probably, very intelligently, waiting for someone to call clear. But that does not matter to Gibbs. For Gibbs is in Dad-Mode and SOMEONE HAS HURT HIS AGENT GODDAMNIT ROWR.

And: Excellent. Hee. I understand Tim way too intimately for my own comfort. This was a kind of a danger in writing the fic though, because I had to make sure to not get my messy issues all over Tim's. ;p

BRB LOLING FOREVER.

So with you up there. It's kind of scary how easy it is for my life-views and philosophical wondering to bleed into my fic!McGee. It usually requires several hours worth of agonizing, y/y?

Awesome! Love how McGee comes up behind the mobster. I agree, that is the perfect combination of rescuing oneself and being rescued.
