I like this chapter alot. You've been able to capture the society Novik illustrated and I really enjoyed the diner party. I do wonder if, as a child of an Aviator, Lee knows about women in the Corps? I wonder if he knows Starbuck; if not that's gonna be a surprise!

Thank you. I'm trying to keep their backgrounds as similar as I can to bsg canon, so Lee knows about Starbuck, though perhaps he doesn't know who the other women on the crew are. Hmmm, you've got me thinking of ways to make things awkward for him now ;).

Hmm... so Lee and Kara have a past in this universe, as well? Interesting. I wonder if something happened between them that led to Lee forsaking the Aerial Corps.

I'm guessing Kara's in training for a Longwing? Viperinus would be a fine name for a virtriolic dragon, don't you think?

At the moment I'm thinking it could have helped contribute, though it's tricky sowing Lee's motivations from Bill's rather biased point of view.

And that is an awesome name for a Longwing :).
