Pinched from icedteainthebag.

It's simple-- post 10 unpopular fannish opinions to your LJ. It can be about the work itself, about fic/vids/other fanwork, or fandom in general. The only thing you shouldn't opine about is individuals. Please, no slamming of anyone's opinions, although comments are always welcome.

Behold, my opinions! )

Yeah, the mytharc in the later years was awful. I had lost faith in the X Files quite a while before Mulder left, though at least the motw stories were entertaining if not as good as before, but it was the new characters that managed to get my interest from having the show on in the background to actively watching again.

Babylon 5 is probably the pinnacle of long term arc sci fi. And it's issues were mainly down to the network mucking about with the last season. But even so, I don't think anything has been able to touch it since.

Yeah, the show was never the same after the move from Vancouver. It was great to see it again in the movie, even though the rest of it could have been better. As for the relationship I had been a fence sitter, but got fed up with all the teasing that went on. Either commit to the relationship or don't, but the writers kept the are they/aren't they thing for far too long.

Repeats of B5 were on daily a few years ago, and even though I missed episodes here and there I felt that the writing still held up. The problem was the budget and special effects, it had a very 90s look to it.
