Oh dear. Merlin has always suffered with using the same thing over and over again for the season. I got bored during season 1 where nothing moved on, and it was the same ep every week, just with a new villain. *le sigh* I don't think I'll be watching it again.

Spooks, on the other hand...

It's frustrating because there is something likable about it, but the writing is nowhere as good as Doctor Who.
