You can come & make Christmas cookies (shaped, iced butter cookies) with me! I'll probably be doing it sometime in December. I did them last year & they came out really good - I made a Mr Hanky the Christmas Poo (frosted with Nutella) with little leftover cookie dough blobs too. But I don't have any little ones around though.

I saw the jam jars in Lakeland. They didn't seem terribly expensive for a box of them.

crafty wafty sarah! though, hey, there's nothing wrong with being proud of yourself for creating something. saturday my dad came home with some premade peanut butter cookie dough. i baked cookies. i totally told everyone i baked cookies, when all i did was spoon out the dough, shape it, stick it on a cookie sheet, and put it in the oven for about 15 minutes. I AM HARDCORE!

though being crafty is majorly fun, and once you get the knack of it, you can't stop. i wish i had more time for crafty things. and you go for it, sar. if you have to start out making tissue paper snowflakes with glitter and pipecleaner candy canes, you go for it.

and get that boy of yours excited about your first christmas as a married couple! IT'LL BE FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN.

hahaha you can't MAKE someone enjoy something Hay :) I am doing my darndest though! I will let you know how the cookies turn out...I am going to do a trial run soon :) I have a huge list of all the ingredients I need to buy!! And J laughed at me because I want to buy food coloring hahahaha How's you? Holiday plans?

i think since i am so completely broke and can't really afford gifts, i'm going to do what i did last year and make this really good spiced tea drink mix to give as gifts. if you should like the recipe, i'll give it to you. i guess the rarest items you'll need for the mix is tang and instant tea.

what's wrong with buying food coloring? hahaha

i'm busy. i'm crazy. i'm not quite as stressed as i have been because i slowly and surely am getting my massive list of stuff done before i can graduate.

i don't have any holiday plans, really, other than thanksgiving i will be writing research papers and trying to get them nailed down and out of the way. this guy i like may or may not stand me up again, but we have tenative plans to spend a little bit of time together around thanksgiving. not sure though. and i'm certainly not going to get my hopes up.

once i get skool out of the way, i'll write you a letter, but i don't have the time right now to devote to anything special. i'd love to hear how your holidays went in letter form!

haha that's a ploy to get me to write you a letter! and it is only fair since my last one was quite short and took me ages to get to you! I will see what I can do on the letter front...

and what more do you have to do to graduate and when do you actually graduate? as in the date that you get to walk up and get your diploma in the lovely mortar board and robe???
