The world Bianca comes from is some crazy cross between the B/Wverse we all know so well, the universe of the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and some stupid twists.

The first bit is easy enough. In Madoka Magica, witches normally don't appear to humans and simply spread despair. This despair manifests itself in ordinary people and turns itself into, more often than not, death. Many unexplained suicides or murders are caused by witches, and sometimes they will even make large crowds of people gather to perform cultish rituals that, of course, lead to death. Witches usually reside in a barrier to stay hidden to humans. Only Puella Magi can open the barrier but they can bring anyone in. That logic applied to the B/Wverse is Bianca's world.

Before she was brought to the island, if Bianca didn't collect the Grief Seeds from the witches and fuse them with her Soul Gem (which she uses as a hairclip--it contains her soul, but she doesn't realize that her body is like a marionette and without the Soul Gem she is completely useless) to replenish its magic, she herself would turn into a witch. She didn't realize it, of course; it was a deep secret of the Joltik who formed her contract. Here on Awesome Island, though, because witches are much harder to come by, the Grief Seeds are no longer required to keep herself going. She is, however, much stronger and just plain better at her job with her Soul Gem charged.

Her powers are based somewhat off of Mami Tomoe's. That neat infinite rifle thing she does? Bianca can do that. However, her Pokémon can work with her Soul Gem to give her an even wider range of powers, most of which are stronger. She dislikes putting her Pokémon in danger, though, so she usually ends up using the rifles for most of her fights. See the team page for all that she can do with her team.
