So, um, I saw this in spiritualenergy's journal and as I started thinking of prompts for her to write, I realized that I too haven't written anything in a while.

SO, after some failed attempts and consulting you, here it is..! Ignore my blatant fail of characterizing Sakura.

It was a sunny Saturday, in Death City. Soul and Sakura were laying on a blanket in the park staring up at the laughing sun. Days slunk past, all leading up to the big ceremony. Wedding, Soul thought. Never thought I'd see myself getting married of all things. He went over the past year it had been since they discovered their parents plans. I was originally going to do something sad and depressing (since.. my writing style can be that way) but then I thought of this after I talked to you. Sort of like.. They would see their rebellion as the best part of the whole situation. You know?

I MADE IT WORK. Just like you asked, bb. I hope it tickles your fancy. Edited for more closure.

Leeron was a devoted mechanic. He loved mechas of all shapes and sizes ("Eespecially the smaller ones, if you know what I mean", he would say with a wink). Even into his old age, he would make repairs on gunmen whether they needed it or not. He would shine them up something fancy.

Over time, his friends and comrades would question his sexuality, but he never cared. He would lead them on, like he did to Kamina and Yoko and Simon. And Viral- especially Viral.

No, Leeron would never find love. But he didn't mind! Just his reflection in Lagann's eyes was enough for him. He wondered, would that make him a narcissist or mecha-sexual? Leeron chuckled, polishing off the ganmen's nose so it shined like no mecha had shined before. And then the baby talk started.

The others would just stand around and watch, letting out heavy sighs. At least there was some sense of familiarity around Kamina City now that Simon was gone.
