...I tend to ignore you. But right now I am tired and crabby, and will go ahead and say that I wish you would stop posting. Literally no one wants to read this.
We really, (really . . . we are not just saying meaningless polite phrases in hopes you will shut up and go away) are sorry if this post disturbs you. And actually now that LJ has "My Stats" we are able to easily see are page-counts for the 1st time and literally hundreds of people are reading this, and (amazingly enough for the fairly dry academic group it is) over a hundred people from all over the world have immediately joined up on the new Listserv.
But with greatest respect we are mystified as to why someone who is a member of an LJ Community called bi_people would somehow be opposed to an announcement of a Listserve devoted promoting academic and research work on Queer-theory that is specifically aimed at addressing issues having to do with the Bisexual, Fluid, Pansexual and otherwise Queer-identified Community(s).
The only thing we can possibly think of is that while we do realize that there are some Bi-identified LGBT people who who are uncomfortable using other nomenclatures, (such as Queer, Pansexual, Fluid, et. al.) and feel
