You're wrong. You're trying to say that no one can have their own opinion, live by the book! Art is meant to be respected, but hey, isn't every other form of everything on the earth? People fuck shit up everyday, no two people care the same about one thing. For example, there would be no prisons, for if people did abide by the laws of our country, and didn't rebel against them, then the world would be some happy go lucky fucktard place, where everyone would go insane, and it'd be chaotic, just because it's so perfect. If there's no conflict in anyone's life, they begin to change, and that change isn't for the better, they are used to having everything their way, and that's what the want, and they aren't going to always get it.

I'm saying that a lot of people at my school don't respect art unless its country music. I know that no two people care the same about anything, but they can show a little respect for jackson pollock. Yeah, the rest of what you said doesn't make a lot of sense except the part where you called yourself a fuck.

To me a blodge of paint on a surface doesn't really mean shit to me, but it seems that when elephants make abstract paintings everyone wants to buy them, so I guess even an elephant can have the skill of Jackson Pollock.

I completely agree with Jim.. art is something that someone does to release whatever they feel and a different way to voice themselves. People can call it "throwing paint" and ect ect.. but in some way, whatever that person put on that canvas, stands for something. Maybe its something all your jackasses wont understand, and thats why you criticize it. Remember, art comes in many forms.. rather its music, or "slapping down paint", or even playing football or something.. everyone comes out in the their own way.
