Hmmm...quite a dilemma. (Congrats on getting into the program, for starters!)
I think in your position, I'd be thrilled to see her halfway through. That said, distance - especially that much, including time differences and all - will probably put a strain on the relationship, even if you work really hard to keep it from happening. Your parents might have a reason to want you not to see her, and it may not be in your best interests. I would have a talk with your girl, maybe discuss the options and tell her why you're considering it. If you make the decision together, then (1) she'll be less hurt if you decide that it'd be better for her not to come, (2) it'll be *your* decision together without influence of your parents, and (3) I suspect you'll feel better about your decision if you work it out together.
