Enter The Chibster [6pgs]

Mar 05, 2006 01:38

Back in October, 'Friends of Lulu' had a challenge 'The Girls' Guide to Guys' Stuff' for their Broad Appeal Anthology. I couldn't enter, not enough time or supplies or anything for that matter but I liked the concept.

This is what came of it. My boyfriend demanded/encouraged me to finish it. Sadly, not one piece of dialogue is fictitious. Enjoy!( Read more... )

That was cool. :)

Looks like I won't be going to Cali at the end of the month. I'll probably be going up to Mass to see Sue instead. I'll think of you when I'm passing through NYC on the way up and back.

Awwww....adorable! And so easily mini-comiced! ^_-

I really love the faces in this -- with every comic you do, especially, your characters get more and more expressive. Awesome stuff!

*files maxi pad technique away for future reference*

That saddest part is, it works, it really does. No boy [father, brother or boyfriend] will trespass that last truly girly boundary. They can be an empathetic lot, but that's pretty much where they draw the line.

With every comic I do, I feel more and more like it's practice so as not to suck. If I like it, I mean really like it, it doesn't even feel like work at all. But I'd like to think that now when it comes down to making actual work/monies/jobs off of it I will suck considerably less.

Neither of you have tried to squick me lately, have you? Ah well.

Thank you for (re?) posting this. It's as *awesome* as you implied at the con.

I'm of the opinion that if we tried to squick you, you'd notice. Whether we were successful or not. Something just tells me as much.

I'm glad it amused you. Unfortunately, my boyfriend is now obsessing over whether his love of kitties comes off as gay. *headdesk* I can never win.

It's sad that since most of the comics I read are manga, I kept reading this right to left.

My favorite part is the evidence of your corrupting influence. Your sister should really know her color theory by now.

Mostly I love all the little details in how everyone is dressed, your flat, all the words I can completely hear coming out of your mouth . . . awesome! Thanks for sharing!

:D Happy to!

The manga thing; I do it too, but only with dialog, which makes it a bitch to edit my own comics to layouts. I never know where I am coming from. ^^:

The color theory thing; My favorite part was hearing about it from my cousin, 'cuz I wasn't there when Aria flipped out. I just heard about it afterward, word for word. You never realize how much kids pay attention. It's scary!
