17 different players attended the Flint Scrabble Club in 2009. Our average attendance was 6 players. 624 games were played and there were no ties. Five different players earned Player of the Month title. Steve Grob led with 5 POM awards, I was POM 4 times, and Carolyn Easter, Elaine Glowniak, and Jeff Fiszbein had 1 POM each. Thanks for doing the stats, and for helping making the Flint Club such a great club to attend. Our current location at the Courtyard by Marriott on Hill Rd. is a wonderful place to meet. I doubt there are many clubs whose members are given a free dinner almost every week, especially when the hotel is the one to provide it! The group may not be large, but I think we make up for it with not only the quality of play provided, but also with the welcoming venue and attitude of players. I'd like to encourage everyone to come visit our club when you can. Miki only asks for a $1 for those who attend regularly, and of course, first timers are free!
