had a hellish journey, unfortunately wearing the same clothes as saturday morning at 6:30, however just been to walmart for something clean, no idea when luggage will show up, but i'm here and have interweb and a bed and nothing planned for tonight.

luggage has now arrived, arrived at 12:30 waking us from our slubmer, however I'm glad reception did call us and let us know. Looks like for the first time ever seceurity haven't decided to look in our crate so it's not been crowbar'ed open, in fact they didn't look in any of our bags, maybe the extra checks on us personally saved our crate from a crowbarring.

see you on Friday or Sat, I'll be bringing some vodka redbull ;)

More Homeland Security bollocks?

just got SSSS'ed for our trip from washington to Reno and when we missed the flight due to being SSSS'ed and only having 20 mins to get from security to the gate the replacment boarding passes also had SSSS on them, so we knew that the next morning we'd need to be at the airport by 4am to make our 6am flight and give TSA time to do there bit.

However I've got to say all the TSA agents this time have been friendly and nice, the one checking hatter the second time asked his boss if he could skip work and come play with rockets with us ;)

Glad you made it there ok--although sad that if the airlines were going to be icky and strand you in DC they couldn't make it a little more convenient to allow you some social time. :)

To be honest it was us that decided to get the 6am flight to get to reno as soon as possible, however once we got here and got booked in and found a walmart to pick up some clothes and junk food we were only really ready to sleep so didn't get any rocketry stuff done till Monday.

We now have plans for what we'll be flying so tonight is the night to get some serious rocketry work done.
