You know if you think about it, it's better for religion to be one's cocaine, as opposed to actual cocaine being in use. At least most religions MEAN well. Crack is just... well, CRACK.

I'm still amazed at how wonderfully eloquent this is...

I'm sorry? So no one's paying attention to the Iraq War which revolves around religious fanaticism? No one minds all the bloodshed in Israel over some stupid plot of land- bloodshed that will last forever because of ancient decrees and nonsense that shouldn't count anymore but do because of religion? And no one cares about the American bible-thumpers that insist evolution and global warming are lies and that school textbooks should be changed to show the other perspective- that is, the religious, non-scientific perspective?

Because I was pretty sure all these issues were still a big deal.

Don't you know? You're the only person to ever read my entries! Unless it's some dumb bullshit like "Who has commented the most on my journal"- then everyone is interested when they are somehow involved.
