Good grief! Was this an exercise in discovering just how many cliff hangers could be packed into one chapter?
I'm glad I read the previouslies even though I was ready for the chapter because...
"What kind of school is this?"
Bahahahahaha
I have been asking that same question since I was in the middle of reading the books.

I believe it's what we could call a 'transitional chapter'. 😉 (Let's face it, I took a page from Scheherazade. The whole thing is designed to ensure as many people as possible are out there rooting for my continued good health... 😆) On the upside, I've got at least 2.5k of the next chapter written already, and that wasn't even counting the bits in the outline. So! Productive! 😃

I know, right? (Why *yes*, let's send *Lochhart* to rescue poor Ginevra. Sorted!)

Excellent transition chapter, a Lot going on. The mental acrobatics of everyone trying to fix the currently un-fixable. Not a terrible moment with Severus... but could have been better if they weren't Still trying to figure out the mental signals / feelings they are sensing. Seems like Hermione is on the cusp of feeling jealous of...? Feeling kinda sorry for Millie's cat (my heart still misses my Maine Coon cat Kiki), just glad she wasn't used for potions ingredients), hope she HAS figured out the way to fix that freaky pendant.

Thank you for building an incredibly detailed AU that is so complete and fulfilling. *hugs & 💝🤍💚🖤💟

*waves* I think Hermione is so used to being in the know, being included, being privileged that it's weird when someone is permitted to do something she isn't. As one of the oldest in her year, she has her Apparition Permit when Harry isn't yet allowed to take the test (and Ron fails it), as a Prefect she's allowed out past curfew (and then there's that bathroom...). She's on the inside when they keep Harry out because his thoughts aren't safe, or when Ginny's excluded because she's 'too young'. So Severus out running around and *she's* stuck at home? That's like waving a red flag in front of her. It's the beginning of low level envy and that has a sort of fluid boundary to jealousy. And *then* he shows up looking tousled and sweaty and rosy cheeked and a bit breathless. Right. Enquiring minds want to know: what's the deal there??? Your other half does *not* get to run around looking well fucked when you haven't a clue *why*. Principles! *nods ( ... )

It’s a rollercoaster with Millie. Sometimes I feel for her, sometimes I’m frustrated with her. Wait a minute, like everyone in this story! I love it! Lololol..

Hermione... I saw you checking out ur husband.... Mhmmmmhmmm.

Mission accomplished then... lol

I mean, what good are husbands if you can't check them out?

Well, that was an ominous cliffhanger for Harper! It felt kind of cynical and sad that Millie discovered that insincerety worked wonders on her pendant, even if it felt good in the short term. Severus.and Hermione keep missing each other, but hopefully that will change soon.

Ah thank you for giving Millie good skin and hair! A girl's got to have something :D
Very interesting chapter - I fully enjoyed the 7th year boys in the bathroom, especially poor Theo attempting to teach C and G how to transfigure parchment to toilet paper. McGonagall would be rolling her eyes haha
Speaking of McG - and Filius - I guess those thank you cards have started to arrive, LOLOLOL Perfect!
I'm on the edge of my seat to find out what will happen in the boys bathroom now that Theo, Blaise and Draco have left the other two to it. Surely that must be why Flitwick has been called to the infirmary...
So much delicious set up; you build anticipation beautifully. xxx
