I'm jumping ahead from chapter 47! I was scared seeing that it was last updated in October but I'm excited to see that the comments are still active. This story has made me laugh and cry without exaggeration. I've been burning through it for the last day and I get grumpy when I need to take a break for real life. I'm eager to catch up!!

Ahoy, Rebecca! No worries, still alive and kicking. Got slammed and have been squeaky-wheeling things. I think from tomorrow I actually had a bit of free time, so I'll see about getting the next chapter up before the Christmas crunch. (Ironically, fewer comments leads to less productivity. So..... If I make you laugh, giggle/snort or cry, be a love and maybe mention it? It's writer's crack. Makes a good many of us more prolific.) To tide you over in the meantime, there's my Christmas story from last year christmasspirit.livejournal.com (now a series of three oneshots), bits and bobs, including the story of Severus' last day at Hogwarts ('milestone' over on gingerbredshaus.livejournal.com) and I've inadvertently started writing short stories to go with my advent calendar. gingerbred.livejournal.com/tag/adventskalender (no explanation for it, it just sort of happened). [Sorry, just spotted this, gmail is acting up right now, too... lol. (Our own fault, we updated the pi-hole blacklist and it's apparently blocking... everything.) Meh. I have now given up and turned it off for the moment. And look at that! I have mail!]

No one is having a good evening! Sexy Severus going all Emma Peel is a sight for sore eyes. Hermione needs to learn to think before she does things like sending that last Patronus to poor Luna. You even got me to feel a little sorry for Millie! Wonder what further machinations Sunny has up his sleeve?

Well, okay, he wasn't taking himself in hand, darn it all, lol :D

So fun to have a scene of Snape keeping himself in tip top shape. It makes so much sense that he would be doing more than the average wizard, he is such a badass, I really loved this section.

And Sunny, what an amazing little manipulator he is! He won't be able to contain himself when things get more heated!

THE RINGS, now Severus has seen it as well. Oh boy, I can just picture the awkward looks they will be sneaking at each other.

This is a take on Flitwick I haven't encountered before, and I find it really interesting. Good guy, but ineffective. I wonder what the deal is with that. He's been a house head for so long, one has to wonder if he was always like this.

Excellent chapter. I am so enjoying finally getting caught up with this awesome fic! xxx
