Tay, though she will not admit it, is homesick.
This has probably been a bit evidenced to her family, at any rate, by the way she's called home every night for the past four days. She misses them. Not home, exactly, though she loves Boston, but her family. She's never been away from her entire family - there's always been her dad and a cousin

"I won't tell Romana. Don't worry." She pauses a moment, tracing her fingers over the table. Her fingers might be sketching out Gallifreyan symbols - there are too many things in her head, and most of the time she doesn't even know where they're coming from. "The Doctor used to know a Romana. She was much cleverer."
Yeah, she's bored. So she's wandering around in people's heads, just a little. And possibly baiting baby angels? It's hard to tell with her.

She's trying to valence a plate of rolled up pancakes on top of a cup of coffee when she spots Tay, looking all sulky and homesick.
Sliding in across from her, Tea smiles a little. "You," she starts, holding up one of her pancakes as she speaks. "Don't look too thrilled to be here. Been seeing a lot of that lately though, I think it's the new trend around here."

Honestly, Tay thinks it looks a little sickening. Too much sweet.
