There is an Aiden in the common room, mostly asleep, with a book over his face, his glasses askew, and just beginning to snore. He didn't mean to fall asleep there, of course. He just didn't get much sleep last night

Regulus wandered into the common room and grinned, amused, at Aiden. He quietly sat his sketch book on the chair and gently shook the fair-haired man.

"Aiden. Aiden! Wake up! You're going to get a crick in your neck!"

Aiden wakes up mid-snore and sits up a bit, the book falling onto his chest. He blinks a few times and adjusts his glasses. "Wha... Oh, hey, Reg. Did I fall asleep?"

"You did," Regulus said, moving back to his chair. "I didn't want you to get a crick."

"Ah... thanks." Aiden yawns and sits up, stretching. "I didn't get much sleep last night..."

Jasper has been finding himself, more often than not, drawn to Aiden for some inexplicable reason, and generally it's in his best interest to avoid people he's getting too fond of (Cole being the exception- the kid looks up to him and he'd hate to break his heart by avoiding him)... Apparently, today is not one of those days where Jasper thinks much about his best interests.

That, of course, doesn't mean he's going to be delicate. He never is.

He waltzes over to Aiden and gives his book a flick. "Oi, Sleepy Beauty, rise and shine. I'm not kissing you to wake you up."

Oh Jazzy, if you only remembered.

"Ow," Aiden mutters as the book hits him in the bridge of the nose. "Jasper?" He sits up and adjusts his glasses. "Hey... I fell asleep, didn't I...?"

[shockwillrock]

"In the flesh," he says smugly. "Unless there's someone else around who looks and sounds like me, which is unlikely."

Not as unlikely as he might think, all things considering, but at the moment, it's pretty much true.

"And yeah, judging by the awkward positioning of yourself in relation to the couch, I'd say you definitely fell asleep, mate. Any particular reason? I know the beds here aren't fantastic, but they can't be less comfortable than couches."

Although he's slept on some pretty comfortable couches.

Aiden shook his head. "I just... didn't sleep well last night. Nightmares... bad ones. I don't usually have them."
