Martha has mostly recovered from her hangover. Memories of the party are vague at best, but she knows she had a good time and she's pretty sure she kissed at least three people. Still it's the uncomplicated kind of kissing and she's feeling lighter than she has in weeks

He's sitting in a corner of his bed, pressed up against the wall when he hears Martha and her knocking. If only for a moment, there is a twisted smile set to his lips -- he knew she would come back. He loved the ignorance of human beings sometimes.
It fades quickly, though, as the door is opened and he gives her a small, tired smile. "I'm... I'm fine." He'll look better, too, now that he's gotten all of the blood and whatnot off of him.

Martha frowns, because after what he'd been through, there's no way he could be fine.
"I didn't mean to leave, but there was a..." Funeral. Right. She still hasn't told him about that, yet. "A thing. That I had to... do..."
Martha takes in a deep breath and weighs in her mind whether now is a good time to tell him about that or not.

"It's fine, really. I can hardly expect you to do that for me. How are you, though?"
He stands finally, stretching a little and probably appearing more than a bit restless. Which, all things considered, could be a good thing or a bad thing. All depended on the turn of the moon.

Martha notices the restlessness and it worries her, immediately. She's trying to remember what the moon was like the last time she saw it, but she hasn't been outside in... days.
She bites her lower lip. "I... didn't tell you this before, Remus, but..." There's a little sigh. God. He's restless and she has to bring this up now and hope his reaction to it is... not horrible. "Brando's... dead."
