A time ... for snowballs.
Shawn Spencer is currently manning a snow fort in the middle of Grant Park. It is a brash, brilliant thing, and lined with a group of neighborhood kids he assembled to band against the evil tyranny of the magical mischievous snowmen. He raises above his perch in one of the upper levels before shouting:
"NEVER SURRENDER!"
... After which he's promptly pelted by five to ten snowballs.
" ... Man down."
Sometimes these things just happen, Shawn.

She has been hiding behind a bush this whole time, watching Shawn and his fantastic skill and strength, taking over a snow fort and shouting out against surrendering.
How handsome!
But she lets out a squeak when she sees him attacked by those kids and rushes over to the snow fort.
"Oh, NO! Are you alright? Don't you worry one moment, Shabunny. We'll get them!"
She is carrying a basket. Ahem.
"ALSO, I made you brownies." She grins brightly.
Reply
Never mind, she has brownies. Everything is negated by brownies. He sits up almost as soon as the word is out of her mouth, and he gives her a small smile.
"Really? For me?"
Reply
There was no calling him of any names at all! But she does have brownies. She has many brownies. Hilary nods in answer to the question. The small smile on her face widens into a grin.
"I thought they would be good fuel for all the hard work you've been doing with the snowball fighting," she says as she hands them to him. They're all in the shape of hearts.
Brownie hearts.

Shawn takes them from her eagerly, ignoring the snowmen in favor of chowing down on brownies. Somewhere, in the back of his head, there's a warning bell going off saying that he shouldn't just be taking brownies from strangers, but Shawn usually ignores most warning bells.
They tend to go along with common sense. Who needs that?

Hilary simply grins and is filled with SO much happiness that he actually takes them and eats them.
"If you ever, ever, ever want any more brownies, you can have them any time. Just write to me on the journals, because I'd be happy to make them for you. I'm Hilary..." and I am the love of your life is not said.
YET.
Reply
Seriously. Best brownies ever. She should cook them professionally.
Reply
"You think so?" She says. "I could make you more whenever you wanted." SHE COULD BE IN HIS KITCHEN PERMANENTLY AND MAKE HIM ALL THE FOOD, ahem.
Reply
... Oh, Shawn, you really don't get how a stalker works, do you?
Reply
Oh, Shawn. It is what makes it so entertaining. "I'd make you a many a you want!"
Reply
Just friendship. Only friendship. At least, that's what he's thinking.
Reply
Yes, SHE STARES. She is not thinking about only friendship at all. She's thinking of how friendship leads to more.
Reply
"I should ... get back to my snowman problem."
Reply
"Okay! Good luck," she says firmly, nudging him with her finger before she grins and skips into hiding again!

Using magic may be cheating just a little, but that doesn't mean Remus is going to put his wand away any time soon. Anyway, it does help to draw one or two of the snowmen's attention in his direction instead of the fort.

"Reinforcements! Victory will be ours!"
