Yes, it's cold and it's wet, and it can be terribly inconvenient, but when it's something that you've spent the first half of your life not having to deal with all, there's something inherently magical about it. Or in Buffy's case -- something inherently child-like.
There's a light snowfall happening in Grant Park, and Buffy is currently running through it like a little kid on too much sugar. Eventually she skids to a stop in front of Theta, sticking her tongue out to try and catch some of the snow on her tongue.

He usually feels this way but there is a tinge of sadness in the corner of his eyes, that place where he misses everything he's lost when he can remember that he's lost it. Right now though? it's not there, he's just busy enjoying the snow, enjoying the goodness and pleasure that comes from it.
He sees Buffy and waves, grinning wide. Throwing snow up in the air, he laughs, watching as it falls down around them.
"It's good, isn't it?" He says cheerfully. "The snow? It's brilliant!"

Waitaminute -- he has antlers on his head.
"You ... seem to be getting into the spirit of the season."

He looks at her, telling himself a quick little tale and there are antlers around Buffy's head as well. They won't last very long at all but he can't help but giggle at the sight of it.
