Harry Potter woke up believing that he was at Hogwarts in his first year of schooling. It was shortly after the incident with the troll in the bathroom where he, Hermione, and Ron first made the team that they did and took down the troll together. When he woke up in an entirely unfamiliar bed, he was confused. He was more than confused really. No

And she can't believe her eyes, this is turning out to be the best week ever! First Cas is Buzz and now there's a Woody too! She's gotten herself a little cowboy hat and plastic sheriff's badge to go with Cas' outfit, but it's nothing compared to the real Woody.
She stands up, eyes wide and reaches for the two toy guns on a belt she has. Holding them up and pointing them at Lucky, she puts on the most serious face she can muster and shouts across to him: "Reach for the skies!"

"What?"
He says looking exaggeratedly shocked, 'reaching for the skies' as she told him to do. The guns that came with this outfit are also toy ones.
"I thought I was the only Sheriff in these parts."

She wrinkles her nose up and narrows her eyes at him.
"I'm the Shreiff 'round here, pard-ner!" she declares. There is a put on accent and everything. "Ain't nothing you can do 'bout it, Sheriff Woody!"

He shakes his head.
"What? No one told me that. I was called in specifically cuz this city didn't have a Sheriff," he says, and he tips his hat up with his hand. "What's your name then, Sheriff?"

Everything about the week itself seems most absurd, and she has been, naturally, researching what she has been able to to get to the bottom of things. Unfortunately, most of these events, as they may be deemed, have little to no rhyme or reason, and none of the books she reads give her any sort of information.
All it takes is observing her surroundings for some time before she recognizes the patterns of the fairytales. It gives her no comfort, and what truly confuses her is stepping into the cafeteria and finding her best friend...much, much younger than he really is now.
"...Harry?" she asks in disbelief. Oh, goodness.
Reply
"...Hermione?"
He tilts his head as he looks at her, getting to his feet as if this will give him some idea of how much she's grown.
She is taller than him, and he has to look up at her from his spot.
"When'd you get so tall? And when'd your hair get so... flat like that?" Harry motions with his hands to indicate the clear difference from FLOOFY to not as floofy.

She keenly remembers being eleven years old along with him, having first met him on the train ride to Hogwarts, probably already knowing much more about him than he would know about himself.
"Oh, Harry," she breathes out, mostly to herself than to him.
She gives him a bit of a look at his comment about her hair.
"It's been a long time since we were eleven, you see. Much time has passed since then."

If he were to guess, he'd say thirty? Twenty five? Harry knows nothing about figuring out someone's age by looking at them, but she's much older and much taller than he remembers. It doesn't mean that it isn't good to see her. It's very good to see someone familiar and someone who he considers a friend.
Harry shuts his mouth quickly at the look that she sends him. "I didn't mean anything bad about it. I like your hair either way," he insists, nodding and adjusting his glasses.
He stares at her, wide eyed and curious.
"Really? How old are we now then?"

The whole week has been puzzling, and he's seen enough ball gowns by now that they all sort of blur together. Except that hair is unmistakable and the fact she can't seem to move is even further puzzling, so he takes a few steps back and... stares.
And takes a few steps closer just to be sure. Yes, that is his girlfriend.
"Not you too," he says to her with a slight, sympathetic wince.

However, everyone she's asked has run the other way. Understandable in Chicago, but she really doesn't think she looks threatening enough for people to side eye and walk away from.
Zoe looks up at him with the smallest of smiles. She could be more upset, but she's not. Mostly because she doesn't think that it's permanent. This is how the Rift rolls.
"Me too," she says, pushing down on the dress to no avail. "Something happened to you or do you mean Not you too along with the rest of the city?"
Reply
Staying in the grass forever or the whole day would not be a good thing, Zoe Walker.
"Not you too along with the rest of the city. Thankfully, I've been spared as of yet," he says, folding his arms across his chest and watching her.
And then the dreaded question. "You need some help there?"
Reply
It would not be a good thing at all especially in this city at this time of the year. It will get cold, and monsters could come. She still has her electricity, but she can only imagine the sight of herself in a beautiful dress, firing electricity off at people who come near.
"That's good though I think this has been going on for a couple days now so we might be in for the long haul," Zoe says lifting up a side of the dress as sparkles fly out when it hits the ground again.
She knows why it is the dreaded question, but she's... been working on it and she half wonders if the witch wasn't able to curse someone with what they need to work on most. "...yes. A lot of help," Zoe says with the slightest of winces. "I ran into a witch, and she decided to curse me with... not being able to walk."

She is just after some more bread and maybe a bottle of water when she catches sight of Harry.
"Harry? Blimey. Look at you, you're so wee."
Reply
He smiles uncertainly at her. He didn't think he was famous here like he was back home.
"Hello. Who are you? How do you know me? Am I not normally so..." He makes a slight face, "wee?"
Reply
"I'm Tonks..." How does she phrase this? Oh! She knows. "I'm a friend of Hermione's." Yeah, that'll do it.
"No, you're normally not so tiny."
Reply
"Oh! Hello then," Harry says from is spot on his chair, looking up at her. "Do you always dress like that? It's... very fancy, looks like something from a book."
He makes a bit of a face in confusion. It's strange.
"How big am I normally?"

Abby really is just a big kid at heart, and she grew up with that movie.
She backs up a few steps after pulling his string, only to bump into Bullseye standing behind her, and giggles, wrapping her arms around herself to restrain herself from cuddling the giant living toy. "Oh, that is so cool," she announces brightly.
Reply
Lucky expects to turn around to see another kid, and he opens his mouth to say something to them, small smile on his face. He loves children, and he misses his own sons very much so it's been kind of cool playing with a bunch of kids before.
He's surprised that she's as old as she is, but not really in a bad way. There's nothing wrong with being
"Bullseye is pretty cool. I'd rather... at least be missing the string. It feels funny when it gets pulled."
Like a tickling feeling, and he is so confused about how it's even inside of his back.
Reply
She gives the string a curious look. "So I'm guessing it wasn't your idea to turn into a lifesized Sheriff Woody, then? Unless being able to equip yourself with a pull-string is part of what the rift did to you.... Which would actually be kind of fun. You could make awesome costumes with that ability."
Reply
He laughs at what she says. "No, it wasn't my idea. Even if it was, I don't think I could come up with such a perfect... costume or y'know Bullseye," Lucky says as he gestures to the horse. "I only know about the movies so well because of... my sons. Back where I came from. You're... not a wanderer are you?"
If she knows automatically that he's one, she has to be either angel or demon.
