Lots of people seem to be in Grant Park right now.
Neal and Elizabeth are settled in an open area, Neal paining her. He's been doing this all day, painting people but he wound up talking her into it when things were going slow

Where Neal and Elizabeth are to be found, Peter is not likely to be far away. He did head off for a little bit after Neal talked El into being painted, but he's made his way back to them now, settling down close enough to watch them without getting in the way.
He has a newspaper open, but he's spending more of his time watching the two of them than he is reading it.
"You should have told me you were expecting coffee," Peter points out. Although it probably wouldn't have made a difference, as he doesn't actually have money to get coffee on him.
He smiles when El approach and holds her there for a moment, pulling her down for a real kiss before he lets her go, still watching her when she does move away.
"I thought we had a closer bond than that though," Neal says. "I thought you would know by now when caffeiehn is needed."
"The Rift didn't give him the power to read your mind, Neal." Elizabeth points out, though she's laughing a little. "I'll admit though, hon. You shouldn't guessed."
She reaches a hand out to him, trying to get him to join her.
If he does, Neal may wind up making it a portrait of both of htem.
"It doesn't really make a difference, since I wasn't going to a coffee shop," he argues, but shakes his head. "Fine, next time I'll bring you coffee."
He's not really going to say no to Elizabeth right now, especially if it means staying near her, so when she reaches out his hand he doesn't hesitate to abandon his paper and join her, wrapping his arms around her lightly.
Peter looks amused, but he stays as requested. Really, he's got a lot of reasons not to move (well, okay, one reason, but being with El is a very good reason). It's a request he's in full favor of.
"Did I miss anything interesting?" he asks, glancing down at El.
Neal is tempted to say something about not moving but realoy, he'd be doing it to tease them and they look sweet together, happy. He won't disturb that quite yet.
El shakes her head. "No, not really. I'd say things are pretty dull but I don't want to jixx things."
"Give it time," Neal says from behind the canvas. "I'm sure something interesting will happen before the end of the day."

"Be nice," Elizabeth says, rolling her eyes at him. And just to be mean, she moves, getting up to leave a kiss against Peter's cheek.
Neal looks vaguely annoyed but doens[t say anything at first, jut lets her settle back into place.

El settles in next to him, her eyes closing in contentment for a moment as she enjoys his presence and the fact taht it's a nice day.
"And now," Neal says from his spot. "If you two could stay like that, I would really appreciate it." He flips over the page and starts again.
El just laughs, shaking her head.
