[semi-locked] [backdated] you shine the lights that stop me; turn to stone.

[OOC: Set about a week after the blackout. Primarily locked for Mio and Iris. However, if you'd like to talk to Cassie about the blackout in person at some point in the day, feel free! :D]

It’s 6.30am and Cassie has already been awake for a couple of hours. She hasn’t slept particularly well since the blackout she caused and she’s constantly on edge, teary eyed and apologetic to everyone she’s spoken to on the journals. She’s agreed to meet up with Mio to do some meditation. She’s never done it before, but she offered to help and Cassie will take all the help that’s being offered to her right now.

She wanders along the second floor looking for the room; it’s not easy considering the size of the tower and the vast amount of rooms within it. She knocks on a few doors, peering round to find them empty. After several tries, she knocks on a final door and opens it. “Hello? Mio?”

Cassie spends the rest of the day walking about Chicago, wondering what damaged she'd done out on streets about Kashtta. The streets have been cleaned up from any mess that was made, but some people feel a little uneasy walking around. She doesn't blame them, and she's really sorry for upsetting anyone. She's not really paying attention to the side-walk, looking out across the road or at the skies. Needless to say, she's going to be bumping into a few people along the way.

Later, she sits, wrapped up in a wool winter coat on one of the benches near the fountain Grant Park. She nurses a cardboard cup full of hot chocolate, steam rising from the small hole in the plastic lid. Having lost all liking of tea and coffee since the coffee shop incident, hot chocolate seems like a better choice in this weather.

Another cup remains at her side for Iris, who she’s waiting to meet. She hopes the hot chocolate isn’t going cold. She’s only had a few sips from hers and it’s still pretty hot. It should be fine. What isn’t fine is what she’s going to talk about. Iris was good enough to be there and to just listen. But she knows she’ll find it difficult to talk about everything that’s happened to her in the last six months. Her powers seem to be weak at the moment; she’s tired and feeling weak from the emotional outburst and the amount of time she kept the blackout going for. She doesn’t know if she’s happy about that or not.
