Waking up, Ruby can't even help the chill that runs over her skin. Nightmares were pretty cliche, but they were starting to eat at her. Honestly, she's more annoyed that she's slept all day. Dean's not really paying attention to much of anything right now. Sam's gone, or missing, or whatever - whatever the case is, he isn't here, or anywhere, and Dean's not exactly in a good state of mind.
Which Dean isn't paying attention to where he's going, and that's why he pretty much walks directly into Ruby.
The narration thinks it's probably a good thing she has that demon strength going for her.
"Christ," Dean says. "Sorry."

As she shakes her head, she laughs lightly, "No, it's fine. I'm sorry -- I'm still getting used to everything. Should've just watched where I was going."

He looks her up and down, and it's hardly the usual checking out a hot girl kind of look so much as it's him making sure he didn't cause any physical damage.
Because that, right now? Would suck.
"Nah, it's definitely me." He rubs at the back of his neck, and can't help muttering, "If by everything you mean this place, don't expect that to change any time soon."

Considering everything else this place had been handing out, she's relieved that it's amusing.
As she sighs, she glances around, "Yeah, sucked away from what I was doing and now I've got to deal with a new city and not a lot of familiar faces."
