Julian has never been asked to beat someone up. For whatever reason. Fletcher has a way of asking things, and it's not like he has a problem with beating someone up.

From one Archangel to another, the narration assumes it's a Fight Club sort of bonding moment, daw.

"Feeling better now, hermano?"

It's doubtful but then, he's not exactly sure what the fuck is going on.

"Sí," Fletch answers, gazing at the chip in his hand. "My mouth's not, though. Coulda warned me about that right hook of yours."

Because this is clearly Julian's fault.

"I don't suppose you'd like a souvenir of the time someone let you beat them up?"

...yeah, it's been a weird day.

Julian is wiping the knuckles of his right hand with a napkin. There's dry blood speckling the surface of them. "Hey, if I'm gonna do something, I go all out. You should be feeling special there, General."

It's not just anybody he'll ruin his knuckles for.

Chuckling, he leans back in his seat. "It ain't that special, Hadley. You gonna tell me why you wanted someone to beat the living sin out of you or should we just keep on drinking?"

He's a guy. It's not like he's gonna force Fletcher to talk about ~feelings~ or whatever the crap it is people do.

"I feel super special."

If Fletch could speak in glitter, he totally just would have.

"Anyway, you can do whatever the hell you want. I think we're done here, unless that makes you feel too dirty."

We repeat: A weird day.

Fletch doesn't want poor Julian to feel used, though.

Elizabeth is not usually around bars. However, there was a death, which is usually how she ends up most places. She's walking by to get back home when she sees an injured person.

"Hey, are you ok-"

It'll take her a moment to realize she KNOWS this person.

"Fletch?" She is over by his side in a second. "What happened? Is that... your tooth?"

"Looks like it," Fletch says, holding it out to her in his palm.

Pleased as he is to see Elizabeth, he really wishes it wasn't happening here, now.

He knows she and Richard are close.

Which warrants the quick addition of: "And if y'think this is somethin' Richard needs to know about, you're quite wrong. Know what I mean?"

Elizabeth winces at the sight of it. She knows vaguely how it feels to have been hit so hard that chunks of teeth fall out. It hasn't happened to her specifically but people she's helped die.

She sighs and shakes her head. "I won't tell him. It's not my job to tell him."

But she would definitely tell her own boyfriend if she got beat up... even if said boyfriend would then go and kill the fuck out of the person. Uh, maybe not.

"But won't he kinda... notice?"

Danny is walking in the opposite direction of Kenzie. He has finished kicking some monster ass himself, but for once, he isn't covered in guts or blood or anything else.

He raises an eyebrow at the wanderer as he passes her.

"...nice look, kid." He smirks. "Is that what's hip in fashion these days?"

"Lady Gaga did it," she replies.

This is clearly a yes, Danny.

Danny smirks at the answer.

"Look just cause Gaga did it, don't mean it's right."

He folds his arms over his chest.

"So what'd ya kill? Or what'd ya get in the way of someone else killin?"

One day the narration wants to tag Kenzie with Rafe. Today, the narration feels he might have better luck with Kae. Then again, one can never be sure with teenagers.

Rafe hangs out at the park a lot, mostly when he's bored.

He hears the hobo yell and rolls his eyes. It draws his attention to Kae and the raccoon bite.

Not that he knows she was bitten by a raccoon. "You need some help there?"

The answer is maybe, but of course Kae's response is a hesitant shake of her head. "I think I've got it under control," she says, wincing as she pulls her makeshift bandage (part of her shirt) a little tighter. "I'm just gonna go to the infirmary later. I'm fi-"

She frowns for a moment, subtly sniffing at the air. Rafe isn't human. He smells like... she knows that smell, but-

After a beat, Kae looks up and blinks at him, tail flicking behind her. "You're... oh, what's it called? I read about this... right! A werewolf. Yeah?"
