Buffy bounces over to a beanbag chair and flops into it, can of Coke and a probably dangerous amount of Pixy Stix in hand. She has just finished covering her guardian angel in sparkles (okay, mostly she just painted his nails), and now she is going to feast victorious and... watch pirate movies.

She might be critiquing the sword fights. Loudly. Because sometimes, Slayers just can't help themselves.

On a nearby beanbag chair, Luka is talking to Phoebe. Buffy might hear the following exchange:

"And that movie? I haven't been paying too much attention, but there's so much wrong with their sword fighting that it's completely ridiculous. I don't know how they did it, but things like that just aren't possible in real life. For another thing, you're supposed to try to hit your opponent, not his blade. You're supposed to disable or kill your opponent, not make pretty clacking noises. And they're all leaving themselves wide open for attack. Defense. It's a thing. Use it." Luka is not impressed.

Buffy glances over and grins, smirking a little. "I don't know, maybe being on a ship makes it harder to guard your center. With all the water and moving around... or maybe they just suck."

That last one seems more likely, really. Though if their goal is to look pretty rather than, you know, stay alive, they're doing awesome.

"If you're going to swordfight on a ship, you should learn to do it properly," Luka says firmly. Luka takes anything involving weapons seriously. "Well, I can believe he's not used to it," she says as she points at Will. "He's supposed to be a blacksmith. The other ones have no excuse though."
