J is considering just writing off Christmas in Chicago as a loss. This is the second one, and by all indications, it started off not treating him well and only intends to get worse in the future.
He's a dog at the moment, because he was giving himself a tension headache as a human and so long as he has opposable thumbs he has to keep convincing himself that breaking into the gun cabinet and slipping off to go hunting is still not a good idea. Like it would be that easy. ...like he'd really care if it were that easy or not.
Still, he's been keeping an eye on the journals, so when Suzie's message pops up... well, he prides himself on being something of a judge of character and mental state, and that entry had more red flags than the United Nations building. So, journal in jaw, he's set out to go find her.
