The city's dark, quiet and wet just after a summer storm. It's warm enough for Teddy to shed her coat, but she doesn't really feel like doing that right now. She's just on the edge of the park, looking down the long row of benches, and something about the quiet is getting on her nerves. On her way to the city, she might notice Jacob Hobbes who is attempting to pick up a metal park bench by creating and manipulating a slightly larger magnetic field than he usually works with. The issue is that he can't focus it well. It's attracting small, nearby metal objects.

Jacob glances toward he sound of footsteps, notices the beautiful lady walking his way, and shuts the magnetic field off, abruptly. The metal bench and all the tiny objects drop to the sidewalk.

"See I'm glad you agree with me, because then I don't have to worry about you reporting me to any crazy, violent, irrational group," Jacob says completely bulldozing over any sarcasm, because sarcasm would ruin his style.

His smile turns on the charm or attempts to, anyway.

He is thoroughly convinced that everyone is swayed by his charm.

"No reporting," she answers, though her tone still remains somewhat nonchalant as she looks over at the various objects littering the sidewalk.

"Scout's honor." She holds up her hand in the salute, the oversized leather jacket's sleeve slipping down over her wrist.
