Job hunting in the rain is still a rather miserable experience, and Topher's quite sure that this last job interview did not go well. Actually, Topher is wondering if it's possible to sue for discrimination.
At least the smell of the rain in the park is wonderful.
The half-naked girl hiding behind the tree is less wonderful. Topher doesn't smell the ozone-y scent of Rift, but with the rain, who knows. With a rather bemused expression, he wanders over and asks, "Do I even want to know what happened?"
Topher offers her his umbrella, but he doesn't have a jacket. He wasn't expecting the rain, and doesn't much notice the cold. The umbrella just happened to be in his car.

And Topher can... probably go be depressed about his failure to find a job now. Oh well. It was a nice distraction while it lasted.
