Tosh is in the lobby of the Kashtta, setting up... something electronic behind the reception desk. It's actually a switchboard for the panic button system - there'll be another one going up in the CCTV room, just so they can be certain of someone monitoring it more or less at all times. It's not until she's a few feet away from the fountain that she notices Zoe. She has not talked to Zoe since the Incident. Elizabeth had been flunking that science class that they shared so she just stopped attending it. It's not that she wouldn't have talked to her had she seen her, but Elizabeth didn't stick to school much and okay, she's been avoiding. What could she say to someone whose sister died with her help?
She stands completely still in front of Zoe. It's amazing how someone can be so filled with movement and excitement, and then be thrown into such stillness. The breeze is blowing enough to make her hair fly up in front of her face, but she doesn't notice.
"Hi Zoe." Her voice has never sounded so small and far away in her head before.

"Elizabeth. I... hi." She hunches her shoulders a little, sinking into her sweatshirt. She was angry at Elizabeth for a while - now, she doesn't know how she feels, some bizarre combination of dread and relief at seeing her again. "I didn't think I'd see you here."
Or, you know, ever.

This is not the most awkward conversation that she's ever had to have. Really. It's not. She doesn't know why she sounds like she's trying to defend her own existence in a park. It's not like she took it as an attack. She is just having trouble functioning in this situation.
"So Tiny... how've you been?"
