She's quiet for a few moments. "We went to church a lot. I mean, a lot, a lot. It was all we had, sometimes. I really liked our parish priest. I looked up to him a lot when I was a kid. I think... I think he wanted to help us. He was always looking out for us, 'cause my mom... just didn't."
Rachel stops there; she doesn't offer any further elaboration. After a minute she shrugs and steps back a bit. "Anyway. Sorry. For spazzing or whatever. That's what I get for reading stuff out of context, I guess."
