Metis has finally made his way to the Main Gauche, though now he's just standing outside, peering up at the complex with raised eyebrows. It's much more of a fortress than he was imagining.
The cat carrier at his feet is making very, very unpleasant noises.
Bean is finally getting back into the swing of things. Most of her memories have come back

As he wanders, he notices the man standing outside staring at the Gauche and pauses. "Er -- excuse me, did you w-want to c-come in?" he asks -- he can't think of many other reasons to be staring at the complex.

Well, there are Behemoths, but one would hope they're not generally the cat-eating kind. Victor nods to this. "That's good. And so far I've only seen the one, so he should be fine." He looks around the complex again. "It's really not bad in here -- the rooms are nice, and there's a lovely garden." The way he grins when he says that should indicate that that's Victor's favorite feature.

He can't help a smirk that's just slightly triumphant. "Yeah, I'm pleased about everything being free. Been a bit low on funds lately."
He beams at Victor. "Thank you for all the information, really."

"Wandering, starving artists. It's all very Sixties."
He nods up at the building, gathering up his things. "So I just find myself an empty room, eh? Nothing special I have to do?"

He blinks a few times, then just shrugs again. "I'm afraid I wouldn't know." He wasn't around for the Sixties -- at least, not the 1960s.
"That's how you go about it, yes," Victor confirms. "Though if you want a window, you'll want a room facing the inner courtyard. The outer rooms don't have any."

"Hm. An inner room it is, then." Metis doubts he would be able to live in a room without windows.

"I chose one of those myself," he says. He supposes he could have lived in one of the outer rooms, but he thinks he might have felt a bit too hemmed-in. "I -- er -- suppose I should let you go select one. Unless there's anything else I can help with."

"Ah..." He beams at Victor and starts on through the gate. "Well, thank you for all the help, Victor, really."
