There's hardly anyone inside when Dean shows up, which for now is fine by him. He nods hello to Avery and steps up to the bar.
"You know what this place is missing?" he asks Sam, impromptu of nothing. "Pie. I mean, I get that we're in a different universe, but pie should be a requirement of any establishment."

Sam glances up with a look of surprise that quickly turns into happiness at the sight of his brother, already getting out a glass in anticipation of what he might like to drink.
"You could've gotten pie at the diner," he points out, once Dean's standing across from him.

He glances around the bar again, then back at Sam. "This place looks fuckin' empty, man. You think I'm in for a slow night?"

You know, you could always come back here and get it yourself, his look says, but instead, he shrugs.
"Doubt it. Things tend to pick up later, anyway."
