Francis is in a lot of pain. A lot. He's still denying pain killers, even though there are holes in the side of his body. He's healing fast enough; he's lucky for that. He's lucky that Aaron didn't hit him straight on. Of course, Tay would be a lot more injured if that were the case. But he doesn't want to be here. He hates hospitals. He hates the ( Read more... )

Nagi has been planning to come visit Francis for a while, and today seems like a good day. What that really means is Nagi managed to steal $40 off someone so he could go order a bunch of Thai food for a light afterschool snack, and now he can bring Francis the leftovers.

Nagi rolls his eyes when he sees Francis trying to get up, and then puts on a smirk. "I know I'm awesome, but you don't have to stand when I come in the room."

"I'm getting out of this dump," he says, giving Nagi a very, very irritated glare. This is not good timing. Or maybe it is. Maybe Nagi will help him escape. "Right now."

Of course, to get out, it might help if he let go of the bed first. It might help if he was positive he could let go of the bed and remain standing. Not that he should be standing in the first place. Also. The hospital gown is embarrassing. He needs real clothes. And fast. Not that real clothes would really get along with his wounds.

"You are? Really?" Nagi's tone of disbelief might be to goad Francis on, or it might be because the situation just calls for that much sarcasm.

"That's too bad. I mean, I have all this awesome Thai food for a guy who's in the hospital, not one who's leaving it." Ooh, but Nagi probably could eat the rest of it himself by now. Maybe he should encourage Francis to leave. Even if Francis doesn't make it, it'll be entertaining.

"I can buy my own Thai food once I get out of here," Francis mutters, slowly letting go of the bed and taking in a long breath. Holy fucking Jesus he hurts. He needs to get to a wheelchair. If he can get to a wheelchair, he can make it a lot farther than he could on his feet. "I'll buy you ice cream if you help me get out of here safely," he adds, stumbling to the door. Pause a few more moments, assess the situation, breathe.
