Sydney, unlike certain other residents of Chicago, has not yet been traumatized by coffee shops. (Banks, on the other hand...) So when she needs to get out of the Kashtta and away from its damn ghosts, a sidewalk cafe seems like a perfectly nice place to do it, even on a cloudy, slightly breezy day.
She gets herself a mocha, deciding the warm beverage compensates for the cloudy sky, and... realizes that there are no empty seats. There is, however, a table with a young woman sitting alone, and Sydney's not exactly shy. She wanders over and smiles a little, gesturing to the empty chair. "Do you mind if I sit here? It's that or take a walk through the park, and..."
She's just about through with the park for a while. Given that the last time she was there involved hellhounds and rocket launchers...
Sydney smiles a little and moves to sit down. The girl seemed like the friendly type - it's nice to have that suspicion confirmed. "Yeah, I guess it is. It's been so long since I've been out of the... house..." The Kashtta is about the farthest you can get from a house, but "ghost-infested office building belonging to a semi-secret wanderer organization" just doesn't roll off the tongue quite as easily.

Lily shoves the chair out slightly with her foot.
"I've no objection to company, and it's a nice day to just sit and people-watch, isn't it?"
