Regulus had been milling around the lobby for about an hour, waiting for someone, anyone really, to show up. He wanted to go out, he heard it was sunny after several days of cloudy weather. Gabriel recognizes the scent of the boy before he sees him on the pier.

He's sitting by a bench on the pier.

He's not on the bench, but sitting next to it.

"Er, not far," Regulus said. "It's just straight that way, if I were taller and stood on this railing I could see it from here."

Gabriel smiles.

It's not his usual creepy vampire smile. It's sincere and it's human and if he thought about it, it looks a lot like how andrew used to smile. No, he really doesn't feel like being himself today.

"Yeah, guess you're right. Not like I can blame you. I'd hate to be stuck down there all the time. Hey, but you look a lot better than the last time I saw you. Or at least, a lot less... green. Got through the whole Dragon Pox thing?"

Regulus gave him a small smile, "Yes, luckily enough. And I won't get it again, thankfully."

Pushing his hair out of his face only to have the wind throw it back, "How are you doing? I haven't seen you around lately."
