He notes the man at the front desk, registers him as an angel (and given the build- he'd assume archangel) and strolls over, snapping his fingers to get the receptionist's attention. He's well-known around here and he's friends with Ariel. "I'll take this one." To Ivan, he offers a hand. "Vincent Sterling. Now I don't exactly run things around here, but I can get you where you're goin'."

Ivan gives Vincent a pleasant smilelet, taking his hand warmly. Coolly. They're both angels; he can tell that even without his wings out, and that points toward someone who knows what he's doing.
"Ivan," he says. "Ivan Volkovich. Good to meet you." A prominant Russian accent suffuses everything, but he articulates very well. "I am told that this is a good place for lodgings, is it right?"

"It's a bit sparse right now, but we're tryin' to bring it back. The wanderers got a little spooked when we were usin' it for command central durin' the... Harsher times, but now that everything's settled back down, we're tryin' to turn it back into what it was."
Or, well, he's sure that's what Ariel wants to do. He's really just the guy who runs the archangels.
He waves a hand in the direction of the elevators. "Shall we?" Hopefully, Tay and Buffy won't show up until after he's finished here.

That's a concern with some archangels.
"Mostly these days, I am one who trains the other soldiers," he appends. "But one does whatever one is needed to do."
