Lesya doesn't mind the snow at all. In fact, she finds she rather likes it, now that she has an alternative to huddling somewhere for warmth whenever it falls. It's probably her upbringing in the USSR combined with her life on the streets of Chicago that contribute to her healthy tolerance, even fascination, of the stuff. And now that it's done ( Read more... )

Things they probably don't have in the USSR: Hellhounds.

Things that are currently prowling the Main Gauche ground: A hellhound, specifically a hellhound who has been out hunting and is just now returning to the Main Gauche. Of course, she would have turned back into humanoid shape, but it's cold and it's much warmer when you're covered in thick fur.

Don't mind the pony-size demon dog watchin' you, Lesya.

At first Lesya doesn't notice the hellhound. She isn't even looking in the direction of the ground. But her gaze finally lowers, and when she notices the creature, she lets out a scream, trying to scramble back to the complex, and instead only managing to fall hard onto the ice.

Oh, that's not good. Missy's not here to scare people today. She is perfectly capable of being nice to humans and not eating them, especially in the Gauche grounds. Besides, she already went hunting.

She plops down in the snow and lays her head on her paws. It's really hard for a giant, overly muscular dog to look like a cowed puppy, but Missy is, uh, somehow managing it. See Lesya! She doesn't want to eat you! She's just cold and bored and possibly in need of scritches.

Hey, even behemoth dogs like scritches.

Lesya tries to get back up off of the icy ground. It's slow going, but she finally struggles to her feet, still not approaching the dog. But she's not screaming anymore, nor is she running. Perhaps waiting to see what comes next? Perhaps she thinks if she runs, that will make the creature attack?

For now, though, she's not going to be forthcoming with scritches. Not just yet.

((OOC: Lesya's the character that can't touch people without mun permission.))
