Tay has a headache.
A rather bad headache, all things considered. She's positive it's because El has a headache. She doesn't know why, but right now, she doesn't want to deal with his demony stuff, so she's going to ignore it and hope it goes away soon

It's mildly distressing.
And it's hard not to notice the waves of depression coming from what used to be the fountain. He makes his way over, registering that it's Tay... And, given all that happened, he's not terribly surprised by that.
"If you're going to pick a spot to be depressed," he says, still just a bit hoarse, "I suppose this is one of the better ones." He moves to sit at the edge of the fountain a couple of feet away, just soaking up the emotions for the time being. "The scenery's fitting, anyway."

She thinks, for a moment, that she might be dreaming. But that doesn't make any sense, as she doesn't dream in vivid color, and even if she did... it doesn't feel right for a dream.
So she stares, all shock and disbelief. And then, in a very uncharacteristic move, she lunges at him, throwing her arms around his neck and burying her face in his shoulder.
"You're awake," she gasps.

Still, he's hardly one to complain.
He hugs her back, ready to let go as soon as she does.
"You can thank El for that," he murmurs. "Though I think that makes the headache you're probably getting from him indirectly my fault. Sorry."

"Well, that's good, I guess."
Oh, she's trying to play cool and like it's a "whatever" sort of situation, but this is... the best thing that's happened to her since the whole battle. Things are starting to go back to normal. Finally.
