Charlie's truck pulls up in front of the house. The Doctor can't quite be the first one out, because there's Charlie on one side of him, and Grace and Des on the other, but as soon as he can get out the door, he tumbles out and starts for the house. The whistler rockets out of the bushes and presses itself against his legs - apparently it missed him. He reaches down absently to pet it before stepping inside, wandering inside and starting to search for... a thing. He knows he left it somewhere.
He's still dirty. Smells like sewer muck. Looks a little rumpled, and kind of like a scraggly stray puppy. Still, he hasn't really got time to do anything about any of that - unless, of course, someone stops him and makes him, which is always a possibility. Especially since he doesn't want to explain to... anyone, really... just why he hasn't got time.
Grace is sticking by Des for the moment, and will follow him inside, though she can't help but wonder if Martha has some spare clothes she can change into. She doesn't care what, but just now, she smells like sewer, thanks to Des. Oh, the glorious life of a guardian angel.
