Gwen and Sam have been in and out of the control room and in various places around the Tower since the note from Elashte, but upon hearing Jack's voice over the comms, they converge on the lobby fairly quickly. Sam's the first to the door, Gwen just coming down the stairs as Sam unlocks the door.

He doesn't smile. He wouldn't be in a smiling mood even if he and Gwen weren't targets for assassination. He does glance past Jack to his friends, and then back to Jack. "Good to see you."

Jack claps him on the shoulder, stepping inside without any real hesitation. "You too. Though, in the future, see if you can't get some additional verification before opening the door. I could have been Hart." His words pause for a moment, but he doesn't. "...I'm not. Sam, this is Malek Asenath, Jeremy Taylor, and the silent one in the back is Kobayashi Tachi, personal name Tachi. They're here to help."

Malek grins and reaches out to shake Sam's hand. "Pleased'tcher."

Tachi... doesn't seem to be coming inside, right now.

Jeremy's pleasant. Chipper, even. He's got archangels to kill. So he happily offers Sam his hand after Malek.

"It's a pleasure. Going to be an interesting night." And he looks way too happy about that concept. Sam looks unremarkable in that way that makes him dangerous. That's Jeremy's life. He knows it when he sees it. He likes it.

He glances back at Tachi and smiles. All teeth, dead eyes, something most people don't see and live. But it's not predator to prey, this time. It's predator to predator. Good hunting, it says.

Go figure, he likes the messed-up angel kid.

Sam, for a moment, looks unsettled at the idea that Jack might be Hart, and it doesn't entirely go away by the time Jack's finished talking. He shakes Malek's hand and then Jeremy's - both demons, if the body temperature is any indication - and murmurs a noncommittal, "You too." He eyes them a moment longer, and then swings back toward Jack.

Gwen reaches Jack and gives him a tight, tense smile. Neither Gwen or Sam are having the best week, and it's clearly only going to get worse. "Marshall's in the control room," she says without preamble. "He can control the lockdown system from there, so that's something. How are you?"
