Aria looks up at Dinah, smiles and gets to her feet rather fluidly.
"Yeah, I think I may have seen you around a little too" Aria tugs on her hair absentmindedly and then offers the hand which isn't holding the ice cream "I'm Aria, nice to meet you."
Apparently the combination of sunshine, ice cream and her birthday does something to Aria's head, it's rather good because she is actually making a effort to be friendly.
A effort she hadn't actually made until about three weeks ago for around Eighty five years.
Speaking of the sun, Dinah turns her head to it and her smile softens. Oh, it's a warm, beautiful day, despite the turmoil of the Conrad basement. She can't help, but enjoy it.
Aria also glances up at the sky and smiles dreamily before glancing back to her hand with a slightly surprised expression on her face.
"Oh, Vanilla... I don't have it often but when I do Vanilla's my favourite" She's existed a hundred years with only seven vanilla Ice Creams, it probably explains a great deal about Aria.
"It's melting though, sunshine doesn't mix well with ice cream" a very brief frown crosses Aria's face and then she's smiling again.
Lola is probably not in the best mood ever, considering she's just received word that the Don's coming into town soon and... Well, nothing good ever comes of Luther being around, and not even the shiny, happy "nothing good" that Lola likes to cause... A different kind of not good.
What she needs is a distraction and the gardens just seemed to be a good place to find one, and as luck would have it, she finds Katie. She frowns a little and wanders over to her, tilting her head to the side as she looks at the drawing.
"What... Are those?" She asks, completely confused. Apparently mutant dolphins are not a subject that Lola knows much about... Or something.
Katie jumps just a little, looks up, grins at Lola and then lets her brain catch up to the actual words coming out of Lola's mouth.
Ah, this could turn out to be just slightly embarrassing.
"Just... Scribbles" she mutters, quickly closing the notebook and hoping that she isn't blushing too much.. Which she usually is, she's gotten better at hiding her emotions but her cheeks still have the unfortunate tendency to heat up.
"My... Little brother, well, half brother made them up, I occasionally just find myself drawing them" she's lying through her teeth, she does that a lot...
It's rather fortunate that she didn't become a angel.
Lola tilts her head to the side and regards her with a certain look as if she's really trying to figure out whether or not she should believe any of that.
"It must be really boring here lately if you've been reduced to scribbling your brother's weird creations," she finally accesses and plops down on the pathway, allowing her long billowy skirt to pool around her legs.
"Killed anyone lately?" She asks casually, because that's the sort of thing one asks when one is a demon, apparently.
Katie makes a face and shrugs, running a absent minded hand through her hair "it has really... I'm used to going out a lot but lately I've just been staying in... but y'know I'm thinking of going out again and finding somebody."
Which translates to killing somebody, she hasn't done it for three months and she's been getting rather vague withdrawal pains... Which means that she's vaguely batting around the idea that she could ask Lola along to torture the person and then she could finish the person off.
She has no idea if that'll work at all, but it's fun to think about... Yes, she is seriously twisted inside.

Dinah has been walking in the park, enjoying the sun and drinking lemonade she bought from a local vendor on the street.
It's a nice day.
It's better to be outside than endure the tensions of the basement.
She smiles at Aria. "I'm Dinah, by the way."

She's too happy to frown.
