The Doctor has left the Conrad. Why, exactly, he decided it would be a good idea to do so without telling anyone about it, is a secret probably only known to Time Lords and other people who are Ancient and Forever, but that's entirely beside the point

Tachi is wandering near the Conrad. Making the rounds. Wings out. This one isn't an Angel. But he's got a sense to him. Something not quite right. Not quite human.

Approaches. Scents the air. Can't smell blood - not literal blood. Scents agitation. Wings ruffle. Good news for Luther. Feeds on dark parts. Feeds on fear.

Watching him now. Staring. Taking in everything.

The Doctor notices her. She's not exactly inconspicuous, and she has wings. For a moment, he wonders if she might be one of Romana's archangels, but... he doesn't recognize her. He's at least seen most of them around, once or twice.

"Did you need something?" he asks after a moment, because she's staring at him.

"Wanderer," Tachi identifies. Not difficult. Way he walks, way he looks. "Storm's coming. Better get inside. Streets will run with blood." Tilt of the head, quick preen of the wings, feathers slipping between the fingers. "Where is Romana?"

Well, that's not ominous at all. The Doctor quirks an eyebrow at her. "Yeah, I think I'll be fine, thanks. I've weathered plenty of storms worse than this." He pauses at the mention of Romana, but she's an angel - or, well, he supposes she could be a demon... "In the hotel. What makes you think I'd know?" Even if he... does.
