Coming home

The elevator doors open to a couple of faces that haven't been seen in the basement since before the plague hit. A sweet-faced blonde demon pushing a very happy-looking brunette ex-angel in a wheelchair.

Folks, Becky Trapper's back home. And she's smiling. Her leg's still in a cast, and under her shirt, her ribs are still wrapped, but her ( Read more... )

Wonder of wonders, Des just so happens to be coming out of the Endless Hallway about that time, and considering how long it's been since he's seen Becky, he believes his immediate reaction to be completely justified.

"Becky!" He shouts, darting to the wheelchair and giving her a quick hug around the neck to avoid further injury to her ribs, before pulling back and examining her, his grin stretching about as far as hers. "I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much."

He'll get around to saying hi to you too, Annie... It's just... Becky.

Becky laughs and hugs him back carefully, attempting not to stretch too much. Sore ribs and all. "You obviously didn't know me when I was eight." Beam. She'd be bouncing, if it wouldn't hurt too much. "God, you have no idea how good it is to see you."

He grins at her in a very teasing way, "No, I totally did know you when you were eight. I've been here this whole time and all that crap I told you about coming through the Rift is a total lie."

Awww sarcasm can be cute.

"It's good to see you too, Becks. I've missed seeing you around." Smiling or no, his Becky is his Becky. She's his little sister-thing, dammit and he adores her.

He finally waves at Annie, because it's only polite and she'll probably eat him if he ignores her for too long or something. "Hi, Annie. Didn't go too crazy being stuck at the hospital, did you?"

Annie was waiting for that. And no, she wouldn't have eaten him, but she might have... bitten him a little. "Becky is lucky I love her," she says flatly. "Do you have any idea how boring hospitals are? It's nothing like Grey's Anatomy."
