Randall Hunt steps into the hospital waiting room without hesitation. He's been running since she had told him where she was so it's difficult not to simply sprint inside. It's more than the immediate worry over her being in a hospital (with a friend or not) that has him so antsy to see her, again

And here she is. Sitting in the waiting room, doodling in a locked page on her notebook while she waits.

She glances up when the door opens, and then a smile breaks over her face when she sees him. It's been over fifty years since she saw her brother, and of all her family, he always was her favorite.

"Rusty!" she squeals, and bounds to her feet, dropping her notebook in the process as she runs toward him and flings her arms around his neck. Of course, this requires jumping, as he's rather... taller than her, but most people are.

Rusy for once is quick to react to her, wrapping his arms around her, tightly and laughing at the looks peope are giving them. Fifty years makes this reunion meaningful enough that it damn well bettter get some odd looks.

"Hey, sis. Good to see ya," he says, quietly, with a sideways smile.

She laughs, and kisses his cheek, clinging for a second before she drops back down to grin up at him. "You too. I really missed you." Not enough to, you know, come home, but... that's Annie for you.

"Missed ya too." Rusty smiles down at her, looking more than a bit awkward just standing there as tall as he is (but that's nothing new). "Of course. That's why I agreed to come lookin' for you."

He would have gone even if he didn't miss her so much. Mostly cause he's sort of desperate to please their parents, but...ah, well.

"You been in Chicago long? I swear I was here like five years ago." His memory's not the best. "Only stopped back in cause everyone's talkin about how this is the place to be."
