I like the way you wrote this, how you worded things like here Sliding out into the nippy air Tora hung back in front of the hotel, wishing the other two a polite goodnight in favor of a quick smoke and a missed elevator ride in awkward silence., some parts more detailed than others and just nice overall feeling.
