Wrote a quick update for "Merits" tonight -- ended up on a roll and nearly have the next chap done, too. If the current chap gets a lot of hate-comments again (for the cliffhanger ending, heh), I'll try and finish this second update soon...-ish. ^^;

Argh, every time I look at this chapter I see over-descriptions and my overbearing ability to NOT CUT OUT THE OVER-WORDING! XD

Hahahaha, man, K., today you commented on nearly all the chaps I had posted here--were you that bored at the office? ^_~ (Or does a little mid-day masochism warm you up for the late shift?)

GASP! OH NO! Were you drinking on the job, and thus *that's* what made this story seem so good!? 0.o (Shhh, I won't tell...) ;) (JK!)

(Sorry, I'm just teasing -- it always amazes me when I get positive feedback on my writing. ^^;;; )

BTW, sounds like things are shaping up with your apartment (slowly but surely), congratulations! ^_^b

I think there's one more chap of "Merits" posted, but I didn't post the actual full chapter to LJ this time, just the link to the story on ff.net. I ran out of time last night. ^^;

I hope you're doing well, & I'll do my best to keep updating. :) We learn more about Suki's past in the next chapter. ^

Nah I was just starving for something that was decently written and made me laugh since there are so many last minute setbacks in my apartment. First we managed to set up the entire kitchen (yay!), then we had to take it apart again because aparently the hooks connecting it to the wall couldn't carry the weight (no one was hurt except my good spiritis, which were shot down painfully), then my bed was supposed to be delivered today and yesterday I got the call that they don't know when it'll be delivered. And my walls -- my beautiful painted walls - keep sprouting holes even AFTER we've painted them. I'm really unhappy with all that so your story was the way to make me head to bed with a smile. Thanks for that :)
